# Sources and limitations for the new airport catalogs

The venue facts come from the [Geofabrik Sweden OSM extract](https://download.geofabrik.de/europe/sweden-261019.osm.pbf). The source file was downloaded on **20 October 2026**, its dataset timestamp is **2026-10-19T20:21:11Z**, and the new selection was processed on **21 October 2026**. Reusing this file does not mean that venues or their websites were individually checked on 21 October. Its published MD5 checksum was verified as `a04741cc16060a034ab3d4b21a709a87`.

[OSM attribution and copyright information](https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright). The downloadable derived place data retains this attribution and license. No third-party editorial paragraphs, reviews, photographs or map tiles are included. Public Geofabrik extracts omit contributor personal metadata.

Each of the seven new catalogs contains **987 new named places**, with an explicit source street, house number and geometry, grouped into 12 categories. Category hubs contain at least 15 places. Existing catalogs are preserved. The exclusion contract covers all 4,382 previously catalogued unique place identities, source URLs, known Wikidata identities, nearby name aliases and incompatible existing physical-address ownership. New physical-address and nearby-name groups cannot be split between domains. Real branches at different source addresses and coordinates may remain distinct places.

Restricted or private access, residential offices, closed/future features, childcare, protected support locations, emergency and sensitive psychiatric/youth/addiction/rehabilitation care, airport-internal destinations and unverified outer-archipelago road access are excluded. The source is not a live register: a map record may still be stale, may have moved or may require an appointment. None of the 6,909 new venues has been individually verified with its operator. Current entrance, opening, availability and any permission for a vehicle to reach a point must be confirmed with the recipient and booked provider.

The final bounded access screen compares all selected coordinates with a public car-road graph of the same dated source, without ferry edges, and reviews known island names, cities and geometry against official ferry/visitor information. Ferry-dependent or uncertain archipelago destinations were replaced. This is a conservative editorial selection, not a claim that an island never permits vehicles, and graph connectivity does not prove an entrance or current access permission. Clearly identified taxi-operator offices were also replaced. The correction evidence and exact identities are retained in `island-and-taxi-office-corrections.json` and `road-component-screen.json`.

Published fields are limited to public structured place facts. Website URLs must be syntactically valid HTTP(S) references without credentials; invalid source website tags are omitted. No personal email addresses, phone numbers, mapper notes or contributor details are published. Where present, `opening_hours`, `wheelchair`, `cuisine`, `sport`, `brand` and `operator` are explicitly **dated map-source registrations**, not current availability, access or service guarantees. Missing city and postcode fields remain empty.

Coordinates are the source point or a feature bounding-box center. They do not identify a verified taxi entrance, taxi stand or road route. Distances use the Haversine formula and represent straight-line distance to an airport reference; they do not represent road distance, travel time or fare. Nearby-place distances have the same limitation.

Airport coordinates are general airport references, not verified terminal entrances or meeting points. This data does not establish airport contracts, supplier authorisation, taxi availability, fleet capability, Google indexation or search ranking.
